Fender Reissue Mustang
Aftermarket Price History
Used-market sales only. Brand New listings excluded.
Mustang reissues exist to recreate Fender's classic short-scale student model for players who want the original formula without paying vintage prices. The defining traits are the 24-inch scale, slider switching and Dynamic Vibrato layout, because those details create the feel and behavior that separate a real Mustang experience from a generic small Fender. On the used market, country of origin, year and hardware originality carry real weight, since different reissue eras can feel meaningfully different and trem parts are often lost or changed. This is the lane for buyers who want the true old-school Mustang recipe, not just the body shape.

Market Report
Used examples typically trade between $1,000 and $1,375; anything under $1,000 is worth a close look. The market is predictable month to month.
This is a slow-moving market at ~4/month. Sellers may wait longer for the right buyer; don't expect a quick flip.
Condition has a moderate effect on price (~23% spread from clean to worn). Player-grade examples represent reasonable value.
