The Player Mustang is Fender's modern, affordable short-scale model, built for musicians who want a compact Fender that behaves like a straightforward working guitar. A 24-inch scale, hardtail bridge and simple Player-era electronics make it more direct and less idiosyncratic than the classic slider-switch vibrato Mustangs it visually references.
