The Vintera Mustang is Fender's Mexican vintage-style short-scale model, aimed at players who want classic Mustang character at a more accessible price than U.S. reissues. Vintage-minded pickups, proper slider controls and period-leaning hardware are the features that define it, because they put the guitar much closer to the original design than the simpler Player Mustang. On the used market, setup and originality are the big price drivers, especially around the vibrato and switching, since those are the first places these guitars get altered.
