Fender Johnny Marr Jaguar
Aftermarket Price History
Used-market sales only. Brand New listings excluded.
Fender released the Johnny Marr Jaguar as a ground-up redesign by one of the model's most detail-oriented modern champions, and it is widely treated as one of the best production Jaguars Fender has made. Custom-wound pickups, a four-way switching system with bright option, revised vibrato placement and a Mustang-style bridge solve many classic Jaguar complaints without flattening the instrument into something generic. On the used market, originality is crucial because the switching and hardware package is the whole point, and early runs or scarce finishes usually bring a premium. This is a signature model with real cross-market demand, so clean stock examples tend to stay firm.

Market Report
Used examples typically trade between $1,975 and $2,400; anything under $1,950 is worth a close look. Prices are up +3.2% vs. 12 months ago. Some price variation month to month, but within a normal range.
Turnover is steady at ~7/month. Supply is consistent enough that patient buyers can find options without rushing.
Condition has a moderate effect on price (~19% spread from clean to worn). Player-grade examples represent reasonable value.

The closest non-signature U.S. Jaguar: lacquer finish, Pure Vintage pickups, and vintage-correct spec at a similar price.
Earlier U.S. reissue for players who want correct Jaguar behavior without the Marr custom engineering choices.
The other major Jaguar signature at a lower price: a radically different brief — simplified, loud, and confrontational.
