The Jimi Hendrix Stratocaster is Fender's production homage to Hendrix's flipped-right-hand approach, built to capture a few key visual and mechanical cues rather than just borrow a famous name. The reverse headstock, reverse bridge-pickup angle and period-leaning cosmetics are the details that define it, because they create a noticeably different feel and response from a standard production Strat. On the used market, originality and condition carry more weight than on ordinary Mexican Strats because the model only makes sense when the signature geometry stays intact.
