The Eric Clapton Stratocaster is one of Fender's longest-running and most clearly defined signatures, built around Clapton's long-established stage requirements rather than around a vintage replica brief. The active mid-boost circuit, TBX tone control, soft V neck and blocked-vibrato mindset are the load-bearing features, because they make this guitar behave very differently from a normal Strat even before the amp comes into play. On the used market, originality of the electronics does most of the work, while normal play wear is less important than whether the boost system and hardware remain intact. It is a player's signature first, and the market rewards complete, unmodified examples.

Market Report
One of the longest-running Fender artist signatures. Wide range ($1100–$2249) reflects both production eras and condition — early MIJ examples and current US-made versions trade at different price levels, so know which you're buying.
Strong secondary demand from both players who want the mid-boost and blocked vibrato, and Clapton collectors. Good liquidity. If you're buying, confirm the production era first; if you're selling, lead with it.
