The Kurt Cobain Mustang is Fender's production version of Cobain's heavily modified competition Mustangs, built for players who want short-scale feel with none of the usual low-output student-model limitations. The defining features are the humbucker-driven electronics, competition-inspired looks and stage-friendly hardware choices that push it far away from a stock 1960s Mustang.
