Fender Vintage Jaguar
Price by model year
This page covers the vintage Jaguar market from the model's 1962 debut through pre-2000 examples, which means it spans both highly collectible early guitars and much more affordable later-era instruments. Early custom-color and pre-CBS Jaguars sit at the top, while late-1960s, 1970s and 1990s examples trade more on condition, originality and setup than on pure scarcity alone. On the used market, finish history, pickup and switch originality and the health of the bridge and vibrato system do most of the work, because offset hardware is frequently altered and complete clean examples are harder to find than they look. Read this page by era and by how intact the guitar is, because the vintage Jaguar market has a much wider spread than a single median can show.
