Gibson Explorer Custom
Aftermarket Price History
Used-market sales only. Brand New listings excluded.
The Explorer Custom is Gibson taking one of its least subtle shapes and dressing it up anyway. That contrast is the appeal. Buyers want the hard-edged body with a more luxurious finish and trim package, which means the best examples are the ones that still balance extravagance with menace.

Market Report
Used examples typically trade between $3,750 and $4,775; anything under $3,725 is worth a close look. Some price variation month to month, but within a normal range.
This model rarely comes to market at ~3/month. When one does appear, expect less room to negotiate on price.
The market isn't particularly condition-sensitive (~10% spread). A player-grade example trades close to a clean one.
