The John Mayer Stratocaster stands out because it became one of the rare production signatures whose reputation outlived its original run and pushed used prices up rather than down. Big Dipper pickups, vintage-leaning specs and the Mayer association create a combination that feels more specific than a normal artist decal job, which is why buyers still track these closely.
