Fender Vintage Jazzmaster
Price by model year
This page covers vintage Jazzmasters from the model's 1958 launch through pre-2000 examples, so it includes everything from early anodized-guard guitars to far later player-grade survivors. The biggest internal split is between pre-CBS and early CBS instruments that collectors chase hard and the much cheaper late-1970s through 1990s market, where condition and completeness often outweigh pure historical prestige. On the used market, originality of the finish, pickups, bridge, trem and rhythm-circuit wiring drives price, because offset hardware is often changed and missing parts are expensive to put right. Buyers should treat this page as an era-by-era market map, not as one average Jazzmaster bucket, because a 1959 Jazzmaster and a 1994 Jazzmaster attract very different buyers.
