American Vintage II Jazzmasters are Fender's current year-spec U.S. reissues, built to go harder on historical accuracy than the American Original line did. Period-correct pickup sets, lacquer finishes, traditional trem and bridge hardware and era-specific neck details are what separate them from modern offsets and from older broad-strokes reissue programs. On the used market, originality is critical, because buyers are specifically paying for faithfulness, not for aftermarket improvements, and paperwork helps more here than it does on player-grade models. These are for buyers who want a new guitar that behaves as much like a specific old Jazzmaster as possible.

Market Report
Introduced in 2022, the American Vintage II Jazzmaster is still working out its secondhand floor. Median around $2000, with some examples reaching $2600+ early on. As supply builds from players upgrading or pivoting, expect some compression toward $1800–$2100 for typical used examples.
The wide spread means condition and color matter more here than on a more established model. There's a real difference in demand between common finishes and rarer ones. Still early enough that buying used carries some price discovery risk — don't assume you can flip quickly at what you paid.
