Fender American Ultra Jazzmaster
Aftermarket Price History
Used-market sales only. Brand New listings excluded.
The American Ultra Jazzmaster is Fender's premium modern offset, aimed at players who want the silhouette and scale length but expect high-end ergonomics and hum-free versatility. Ultra Noiseless pickups, compound-radius neck shaping, sculpted access and advanced switching move it decisively away from vintage Jazzmaster behavior and into contemporary pro-instrument territory. On the used market, condition and originality do most of the work, especially around the electronics package, because buyers are paying for the specific Ultra feature set rather than for vintage romance. It is not the right Jazzmaster for purists, but it is one of the most practical ones Fender has built.
Individual Listings (Used Market)

Market Report
Used examples typically trade between $1,575 and $1,750; anything under $1,550 is worth a close look. The market is predictable month to month.
This is a slow-moving market at ~4/month. Sellers may wait longer for the right buyer; don't expect a quick flip.
The market isn't particularly condition-sensitive (~9% spread). A player-grade example trades close to a clean one.
Related models
The mainstream U.S. working-player Jazzmaster at a lower price: more conventional spec without the Ultra feature set.
Vintage-spec alternative at a higher price: year-specific reissue for buyers who prefer historical accuracy over modern ergonomics.
The natural step up for players who want hand-selected components and builder provenance.
