The American Original Jazzmaster was Fender's U.S.-made vintage-leaning offset for players who wanted classic Jazzmaster identity with just enough modern playability built in. Pure Vintage-style pickups, lacquer finish, proper rhythm-circuit layout and old-school trem placement keep it grounded in 1960s Jazzmaster design, while the slightly more forgiving neck spec makes it easier to live with than a stricter reissue.
