The SG Pro belongs to the part of Gibson's catalog that tried to make old shapes speak a more contemporary language. Push-pull wiring and a more openly practical spec give it a different audience from the plain SG Standard. It does best when it remains recognizably that model and not just another used SG with one too many clever control changes.
