American Vintage II Telecasters are Fender's current year-specific U.S. reissues, built to go harder on historical accuracy than the broader American Original line did. Era-correct pickups, lacquer finishes, period neck shapes and the right bridge and saddle formulas are what define the segment and justify the price gap over player-focused production Teles. On the used market, originality is everything, and the audience cares more about correctness and completeness than about flashy finish rarity. It is the right page for buyers who want a new Tele that behaves as much like a specific old Tele as Fender can reasonably deliver.

Market Report
Premium vintage-spec Tele launched in 2022. The $1499–$2250 range is wide — color and condition premiums are real. Unlike some new releases, these appear to be holding value well at $1500–$1800 for typical used examples.
There's a genuine $500 spread between a tired example at $1500 and a pristine one at $2000. Know what you're buying before comparing prices. Still early enough in the product cycle that some price discovery is ongoing at the upper end.
