Aerodyne Telecasters are Japanese-built, style-forward reinterpretations of the Tele format, built to look and feel sleeker than Fender's standard slab-body workhorse. Carved or bound bodies, slimmer neck feel and more modern pickup and hardware combinations are what separate them from traditional Tele lines and give them their own loyal market. On the used side, country of origin, finish condition and pickup originality do most of the work because buyers are specifically chasing the Aerodyne concept rather than just any Tele. They are player-first instruments with a real visual identity, and the cleaner Japanese examples usually perform best.
