The Roadhouse Stratocaster is a modern player-oriented line built around extra onboard tonal flexibility rather than around strict vintage fidelity. Depending on era, the signature feature is the expanded electronics package, which gives the guitar more range than a plain production Strat without changing the core body and neck formula too dramatically. On the used market, originality of the wiring and controls carries more weight than color or small finish wear, because the value is concentrated in the factory electronics. It is a practical working Strat for players who want extra sounds without moving all the way to a noiseless premium model.
