Market Report
Niche market with a thin active inventory. The Powerhouse (1997β2005) came with an active mid-boost preamp and was part of Fender's MIM Deluxe line alongside the Lone Star. Most sell in the $410β$650 range, median around $500. Small dataset (under 200 sales) means the numbers are directionally correct but don't over-index on them.
The active electronics are the main variable. Players who want the mid-boost find them useful; players who don't find them annoying. Verify the preamp works before buying β a Powerhouse with a dead circuit is just an ordinary Strat with battery routing. At $500 for a working example, it's priced reasonably for what it is.
