Fender American Elite Stratocaster
Aftermarket Price History
Used-market sales only. Brand New listings excluded.
The American Elite Stratocaster was Fender's short-lived premium replacement for the American Deluxe, aimed at players who wanted a no-compromise modern U.S. Strat. Fourth-generation noiseless pickups, compound-radius neck shaping, heel-end truss adjustment and advanced switching make it one of Fender's most overtly contemporary production Strats of its era. On the used market, originality counts most around the electronics and hardware, because those upgrades are the whole point and aftermarket changes rarely improve resale. It remains a strong buy for players who want a high-feature Strat without paying Custom Shop money.

Market Report
Used examples typically trade between $1,100 and $1,250; anything under $1,100 is worth a close look. The market is predictable month to month.
This is a slow-moving market at ~4/month. Sellers may wait longer for the right buyer; don't expect a quick flip.
Condition has a moderate effect on price (~24% spread from clean to worn). Player-grade examples represent reasonable value.
Related models
Lower-priced current U.S. alternative: V-Mod II pickups and a modern working-player spec.
The successor: Ultra Noiseless pickups, compound radius, and a more refined spec throughout.
Vintage-spec U.S. alternative: lacquer and period hardware for buyers who prefer that direction over the Elite spec.
