Fender Reissue Duo-Sonic
Aftermarket Price History
Used-market sales only. Sparse monthly volume; showing a rolling 10-sale average by latest sale month.
Duo-Sonic reissues exist to bring Fender's student-model short-scale formula back into the modern market without asking buyers to pay true vintage prices. What makes them distinct is the combination of compact scale length, simple hardtail design and stripped-down electronics, all of which give them a feel that is very different from a small Stratocaster. On the used market, year, country of origin and scale-length variant weigh nearly as much as condition, while swapped pickups or non-original bridges usually pull prices down fast. These guitars appeal to players who actually want the shorter reach and tighter feel, and the cleanest all-stock examples hold value best.
